History autoportrait

Exercise 1: Find in History an autoportrait who could be you. And express yourself through it

Imagine the moments when you look through yourself in the mirror. That must be the moment

Mess with a selfie

Exercice 2: Put a mess in a pre-existing selfie of someone else than you.

This is an analogue autography of Vivian Maier, who was a talented, yet mysterious photographer. She rarely took any picture of herself, and, when she did, she always made some cool reflections out of them. So I created extra reflections of her to illustrate how her work might be like in a digital world.

Old in new

Exercice 3 : place a pre-existing self portrait in a totally new environment, somewhere very familiar to you. You can use any tool at hand.

Audrey Heburn had such a style and humours. I love her cute bang and cut it myself for several times. And during this corona quarantine, I often took selfie in my room with this particular jumper. So here we go, Audrey in my mini exhibition.

Mood board

Exercice 4 : You will describe what another student of your class likes and doesn't like.

This is Claudia's reality. Because HCI lecture, a conventional frame, and the world are too boring, she would escape to her (sur)reality. In her world, dragons, witches, dark humour and paradoxes are cherished. Yet, Twitter and her cat are inevitable there.

Deep in details

Exercice 5: Show some details of another student (body, outfit), something that helps us to understand who is this person.

Silas: self-sustainability, enviromental friendly, crafty, and gardener.
